The best electric mountain bikes
Whyte E150 S
We were impressed by the Whyte E-150 S’s outstanding handling and performance. It also has a powerful Bosch drive system. The E-150 S also features a great kit of Shimano components. This is why we gave it 5 stars when we reviewed it. The E-150 is a standout because of its low center-of-gravity and balanced stability and agility, which shined when turning railings.
You get a 140mm RockShox Deluxe select + RT shock paired up with a 150mm RockShox Yari RC for suspension. Shimano’s reliable Deore groupset manages the drivetrain, braking, and powertrain.

Merida eONE-SIXTY 9000
The eONE-SIXTY can be described as an enduro bike, and it certainly has travel and clout. However, we had the best time exploring new areas and places that we couldn’t otherwise have found on a regular bicycle. The eONE-SIXTY’s versatility is not just limited to a single route.
The eONE-SIXTY’s determination to climb makes it possible to access difficult terrain without difficulty. You can ride the bike with confidence, regardless of whether it is singletrack or laden with technical features.
Shimano also provides the drivetrain, braking, and shifter. An XT derailleur/SLX shifter and an XT derailleur provide reliable performance that is synonymous with the brand’s benchmark groupset. Shimano XT disc brakes have 203mm rotors and are used. Fox’s DPX2 elite shock and 38 Elite forks are used to manage bump taming. They both have 160mm travel. The mullet configuration of 29er front wheels and 27.5in rear wheels use DT Swiss rims, Maxxis tires.
Mondraker Crafty R
Mondraker’s Crafty R has brought Mondraker’s signature geometry and handling characteristics into an e-MTB equipped with a Bosch motor and a battery.
The Bosch drive system is combined with SRAM GX and NX components, as well as SRAM G2 R brakes. This is combined with Fox suspension front- and rear, as well as DT Swiss H1900 Spline tires, to create a bike that’s barely 25kg.
The Crafty’s handling is superb on even the most difficult terrain. The drive system is efficient and smooth. The only thing that could make this an almost perfect e-MTB is slightly smaller tires, which will improve handling precision and can easily be swapped out if needed.
