Tractor Chassis

Forklift Attachment

Turbocharger

It comprises a compressor section, an exhaust turbine section, and other parts. It aids tractor performance and fuel economy when operating at typical loads. However, some turbocharging systems also designed to reduce engine speed when the vehicle weight exceeds a specific limit or during continuous high load operation, which can cause the engine to overheat quickly if not properly controlled. A decompressor valve, which works as an air pump to remove trapped air from the turbine housing, is also provided in some systems to help maintain an adequate compression against any external loads.

Seat
The operator’s seat usually equipped with back support so that drivers can operate the tractor comfortably and safely for extended periods without experiencing back pain or fatigue. Even on rough terrain, the seat provides comfort while driving a tractor.
Tachometer / Speedometer
This gauge displays the engine’s operating speed and RPM (revolutions per minute). In addition, many tractors are outfitted with various counters that show the number of hours driven by the tractor or the number of hours used on a specific attachment.
Rear View Mirror
A tractor’s rearview mirror is a common component that aids in seeing behind a vehicle and whether any vehicles are approaching from behind, thereby avoiding potential accidents caused by sudden overtaking in the absence of knowledge about approaching vehicles. Rearview mirrors designed with a convex shape and a lower base so that the driver’s eye line meets the line where two sides meet and provide a safe view of what is going on behind him.
Xenon Light

Tractor View Mirrors

Handbrake
A lever located on the driver’s left side to stop the tractor. It helps to decrease wear and tear on the drive train by keeping it stationary when not in use, though it is best to park it on level ground or a cement surface whenever possible to avoid severe transmission damage.
Oil Pressure Gauge
The oil pressure gauge indicates the engine’s oil supply condition about the torque developed during operation. While generally operating in no-load states, the normal range should be between 70 psi – and 120 psi (engine idling). If this pressure falls below the recommended level, there likely a leak due to damaged seals or gaskets, which must repaired immediately, or the crankshaft bearings are faulty and must replaced.
Oil Level Sight Glass
It is located on top of the engine and directly views the oil body to ensure that it not overfilled or empty, which could damage internal components such as pistons.
Indicator for Rear Brakes
This light illuminates during braking to alert the operator to the braking process being performed by the rear brake. Most tractors have rear brakes controlled by a PTO system so that the load gradually slowed down when the tractor is descending a steep slope for safety.
The Control Panel
While working in the field, most modern tractors have control panels mounted near the driver’s seat to view readings from various sensors and devices installed on the front end. For example, if the loader attached to the tractor, the GPS will display the loader’s current position concerning the ground. In addition, the engine RPMs and hydraulic fluid temperature displayed on these panels. These monitors allow drivers to see the overall condition of their machine at any given time.
