If the file is damaged, renaming it would resolve the problem.
- First, you need to open the folder where the QBWUSER.ini file is saved and if you can’t find the folder, enable the hidden files and folders.
- Then, right-click the QBWUSER.ini file and choose Rename.
- Add (.old) after the file name as (QBWUSER.ini.old).
- Rename the EntitlementDataStore.ecml file.

Try opening a sample company file if the software opens after renaming QBWUSER.ini or EntitlementDataStore.ecml file. Want to access the sample company file, but not your company file?
